Design Manager Data Centers

As clients are based in various locations nationally and internationally, flexibility towards traveling is expected.

Your primary responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to, the following:

• Manage scope-of-work, design budget and contract documents for each project.
• Follow and update design delivery schedule and distribute workload within team.
• Coordinate and optimize design with multi-disciplinary team and external parties.
• Lead and challenge design solutions and changes.
• Create and communicate innovative ideas and designs to client and team.

You will need to have:

You are an entrepreneurial, result oriented, initiative-taking individual with a positive flexible and problem-solving attitude. Besides that, you have:

• A bachelor/master’s degree in mechanical or electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of five years relevant working experience in managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects, preferably in data centres or other relevant sectors.
• Shows an affinity with digital and automated design and engineering processes (BIM360, CDE).
• Good knowledge of standard practices in the design and construction industry, and a good understanding of the daily (operational) business of clients.
• Excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients and fluent in English and Dutch.
